TLC Grow Your Own CDA
Teaching Leading Coaching, LLC is a provider of CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential Education through funding provided by PHMC. This credential is nationally recognized. Most colleges recognize the CDA credential as the start to your ECE education pathway, and it can be transferred into credits to further your education.
Obtaining your CDA credential can help you advance/maintain your job requirements/position, increase competence and confidence in your job performance and knowledge of best practices, reinforce your commitment to professionalism and the field of early childhood education.

TLC provides CDA classes via Zoom so you can take classes from the comfort of your own home. Classes run for four months and occur weekly. We have broken down the CDA requirements into weekly assignments to help you successfully prepare for the CDA verification visit and exam. Following completion of classwork and professional portfolio (CDA requirement), we support you through the application process.
How do I apply?
In South East Pennsylvania, due to funding being provided through PHMC, candidates will need to fill out the funding application using the link below. This is just the first step. Once an applicant receives funding, they will then need to apply to TLC to enroll in classes.
